Girls Self-Esteem Group

This psychoeducation group for girls 8-12y/o will be run by by a child psychologist out of Hooves of Hope Ranch 1.5km east of Millet, AB. This group is focussed on: fostering empowerment, self-awareness, managing anxiety, proactive communication skills, positive self-image, peer connection, and emotion regulation strategies.

This group will include Animal-Assisted therapeutic activities (horses, ponies, sheep, goats, cats, donkeys, dogs, and even chickens) art-based interventions, mindfulness, and so much more!
 

DATES: April 17- June 5 (Mondays for 8 weeks)

TIME:: 4:30pm-6:00pm

LOCATION: Hooves of Hope Ranch (Millet, AB)

FACILITATOR: Tammy Schamuhn, R. Psych 4068

COST: $110/per* session (must attend all 8 sessions to register)
 

* Group should qualify for reimbursement under "psychological services" with extended health benefits plans if you are covered for counselling services by a Registered Psychologist
* Please know if you live in Wetaskiwin  or Leduc County there are subsidies available (up to 80%)
