PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS

At our clinic, we provide comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments for children (ages 4+) through adulthood. These assessments are designed to help individuals, families, and educators gain a deeper understanding of learning, attention, behaviour, and emotional functioning.

Our goal is to uncover the why behind the struggles—offering clarity, direction, and practical recommendations that can make a meaningful difference at home, school, and work.
-
Learning: Identify areas of strength and challenge in academic skills such as reading, writing, and mathematics. These evaluations can help clarify whether learning difficulties are due to a specific learning disorder (such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia) or other contributing factors. Results provide a clear roadmap for educational planning, individualized learning supports, and academic accommodations.
-
ADHD: We;re here to help you and your child explore challenges with attention, focus, time management, organization, and impulsivity to determine whether symptoms are consistent with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or related executive functioning difficulties. These assessments can guide effective strategies for success at school, work, and daily life, and can also support medical and workplace accommodations when appropriate.
-
Behavioural: If you have a child struggling with behaviour in school, home, community or childcare settings, you can gain insight into the underlying emotional, social, and family factors that may contribute to concerns regarding inattention, non-compliance, aggression (verbal or physical), disrespect for authority figures, emotional dysregulation, or ongoing family and peer conflict. By identifying root causes, we can better guide treatment planning, parenting strategies, and therapeutic interventions.
-
Adult Mental Health Diagnosis: Our comprehensive Adult Mental Health Diagnostic Assessments provide clarity and direction for individuals who may be struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, or other emotional and behavioural concerns.
-
Personality Assessments: Our assessments offer valuable insight into enduring patterns of behaviour, emotional responses, coping strategies, and interpersonal style. These assessments are conducted by a psychologist and are designed to help individuals seeking greater self-awareness, diagnostic clarification, or support in their personal, relational, or professional lives. Using standardized psychological tools and clinical interviews, we explore traits that shape your strengths, challenges, and ways of navigating the world.
